UL3135 Silicone wire is a wire that uses silicone as the insulating material. Its main feature is excellent high temperature resistance, and it can maintain stable performance in the temperature range of -50°C to +200°C or even higher. In addition, silicone wire has good chemical corrosion resistance and can withstand corrosion from acids, Alkalis, solvents and other chemicals. Its flexibility and wear resistance make it suitable for complex wiring environments.
Suitable for lead-out connection lines of a variety of household appliances, lighting fixtures, electronic equipment, Lithium Batteries,Aircraft models, robots, model toys temperature sensors, etc.

FAQ
1. What is the difference between soft silicone wire and ordinary PVC wire?
Flexibility: Silicone wire is softer and suitable for frequent bending.
Heat resistance: Silicone wire is resistant to high temperature (up to 200°C), while PVC wire is usually only resistant to 70-105°C.
Durability: Silicone is resistant to aging and corrosion, and has a longer lifespan.
2. Can this wire be used for high current transmission?
Yes, but it needs to be selected according to the wire diameter (AWG value). For example:
AWG12 (cross-sectional area of about 3.3mm²) can carry 20-25A current.
AWG18 (cross-sectional area of about 0.82mm²) is suitable for 5-10A.
3. Is the silicone wire flame retardant?
High-quality silicone wires have self-extinguishing properties (they do not continue to burn after being removed from an open flame), but they are not completely flame-resistant; models with added flame retardants can offer higher levels of fire resistance if needed.
4. How to distinguish the quality of silicone wire?
Look at the material: the conductor should be bright and free of oxidation, and the silicone layer should be uniform and free of bubbles.
Test flexibility: the insulation layer should not crack after repeated bending.
Temperature resistance test: no deformation or odor release at high temperatures.
5. Can silicone cables be used outdoors or in humid environments?
Yes. Silicone has excellent waterproof and moisture-proof properties, but long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays may age, so it is recommended to add a protective sleeve.
6. What is the withstand voltage value of the wire?
The withstand voltage range of common silicone wires is 300V-600V (such as UL3135 standard). Please check the product specifications for details.
7. How to connect the soft silicone wire?
Welding: Use a high-temperature soldering station (silicone is heat-resistant, but avoid long-term high temperature to burn the insulation layer).
Crimping: Use appropriate terminals to ensure firm contact.
Note: Avoid using low-quality tape, and heat shrink tubing is recommended to protect the joint.
8. What should I pay attention to when storing wires?
Avoid scratches from sharp objects, keep away from strong acid/alkaline environments, and store in a cool and dry place.
